Pink Triangle is an 8-minute historical short film set in the Sachsenhausen concentration camp on Christmas Eve 1944. A political prisoner, marked with the red triangle and close to death in the snow, is saved by another inmate who gives him alcohol from a forbidden flask. Only after regaining consciousness does he notice the pink triangle on his rescuer's uniform — and react with disgust.

The next morning he discovers that the man who saved his life has been executed, the flask tied to his hands as a warning.

The film explores prejudice among the persecuted, human hierarchy, guilt, dignity and compassion under extreme oppression. At its core lies the painful realisation that suffering does not automatically erase hatred — and that sometimes the person placed lowest in a system of dehumanisation can be the one who acts with the greatest humanity.
